WORLD of WARSHIPS

World of Tanks is a global phenomenon, and its success has become a new genre of sorts: the World War 2 vehicle shooter. World of Warships, the newest entry in the series after 2013’s World of Warplanes, is finally out of drydock and officially launched. Its mix of ponderous warships and huge guns—the biggest guns ever fired in anger by mankind—is beautiful, polished, and a joy to play. Warships is the most thoughtful Wargaming game so far, but its economy continues Wargaming’s pattern of expensive, exploitative freemium prices.Planning ahead is key for Warships. MOD Brings UFO Right inside GTA V

The truth is out there, or at least it used to be. Now it’s right here, overhead, bombarding the streets of GTA 5’s Los Santos. The UFO Invasion mod gives you a nice look at GTA 5’s elusive flying saucers by having them hover in the sky, blasting the city (and you) with deadly blue lasers, and sucking up cars and citizens (and you!) with tractor beams. Mixture of MORROWIND and SKYRIM gives us SKYWIND

About a year ago the team working to recreate Morrowind in the Skyrim engine asked for voice actors and sound quality assistants to help them make Skywind sound as good as it looks. They’ve done well in that year, and, in a recent update, have shared videos of three of the completed recordings as they appear in game: an Argonian, a Dunmer, and an Altmer (which sounds like the beginning of a joke, I know). THE WITCHER 3 expansion HEARTH STONE starts at level 30

The Witcher 3’s first expansion, Hearts of Stone, was announced months ago, before the release of the game, alongside another expansion called Blood and Wine that’s not due until next year. Hearts of Stone is out next month, but until now we didn’t know much about how it’ll fit into the game, only that it’ll add about ten hours and take place in No Man’s Land and Oxenfurt. FINAL FANTASY TYPE O HD will have 23% discount on PC release day

Though Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been out on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one since March 17 this year, the console price is still $49.99 at most retailers. Today the PC download version became available on Steam for $29.99, which blows the console price out of the water and actually gets even cheaper if you know where to look. Six games sold over 1 million copies on Steam.While Steam Spy is an “imperfect tool” by its own creator’s admission, it’s still a decent way to get broad strokes data on what’s doing well on Steam.GTA V, ARK: Survival Evolved, H1Z1, Cities: Skylines, Rocket League and Besieged have all sold over 1 million units since March 2015, the stats show.
