The next gamescom will be open for trade visitors from August 13th to 17th, 2014. Wednesday, August 13, 2014, is the trade visitor and media day. The organiser can grant access to a limited number of the general public on Wednesday.Second largest games fair in the world will be held 6th time this year in Cologne.

Europe’s epicenter for games and gamers will offer variety on new games to show. Notable exibitors will be from different studios all over the world.

SONY

Let’s start with Sony, who is bringing  maybe the most games  to the table.  Journey, indie game developed in 2012 is beeing retouched for newest pixels in Playstation 4. The game with most interest arround is certainly The Order 1886 …you can take a look at the trailer, it’s from E3 2014 show.

Also, we wil be presented Hustle Kings which is pool video game from 2009,also beeing respawn for PS4.Now, Driveclub is driving simulation we wrote about some time ago, it should be released in october this year.The game should have ProjectMorpheus involved, but developers decided not to offer virtual reality. And one more valuable oponnent coming from Sony  is BloodBorne.   The game story is set in ancient , abandoned city called Yharnam which was known for housing a medical remedy.Many travellers went there, and protagonist of the game is one of them. He will find horror and terror inside the city, upon his arrival, and he will have to navigate the streets and defeat monsters.

MICROSOFT

Microsoft will offer three games Forza Horizon, Quantum Brake and Killer Instinct and all three are available for Xbox.In Forza Horizon you will drive on 30 different locations all over the world. 

Quantum Brake is upocming third person game from Remedy famous by Max Payne. While the Quantum Break tv show is also in the production, developers say that how you play the game will impact the tv series.

And Killer Instinct is fighting game released on 22.november 2013 now beeing released for XBO.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

Batman Arkham Knight, Gauntlet and Dying Light will probably be games from this group to lure your attention to them.Newest game in the Batman series follows Batman at the peak of his ability.The character can fly throughout the city using his cape, with gliding now allowing for longer sustained flights, steeper dives and higher climbs.One of the highlights is Batmobile beeing introduced.Gauntlet is modernized RPG version of the celebrated game.Players can choose from 4 different classes Wizard,Warrior,Elf or Valkyrie.

Dying Light is survival horror game that makes you run from the zombies in the slum cities that could be South American. During the day player scavange the city in order to get food, water, supplies. When the night falls you have to run for your life.You should be able to use more than 100 weapons in the game.Authors also promise ability to craft weapons in the game.

Two more games coming from this studio are Middle Earth-Shadow of Mordor and Mortal Kombat X.

KONAMI

Konami traditionally brings us new version of PES.PES 2015  should fulfill expectations of the audience. Game should be released on september 26.th 2014

The other game is Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain, we wrote about it couple months ago.Now, the Phantom Pian is very ambitious project from Hideo Kojima.The game elements are largerly changed from previous game Ground Zero, so you will have to sneak, avoid enemy guards and remain undetected. 

UBISOFT

Assassins Creed Rogue, Assasins CreedUnity,Tom Clancy the Division,The Crew, The Settlers Kingdom of Anteria are just some of the games Ubisoft will present on Gamescom 2014.In Assassins Creed Unity combat system changed .In addition to returning to system from previous games, ACu introduces the Phantom Blade.Phantom Blade uses mechanic of a crossbow to fire silent projectile a great distance. The Crew new racing simulator is beeing developed by Ivory Tower.On 21. july 2014 Ubisoft closed beta for limited time. Game should be released 11. november 2014.

The Settlers trailer has been released during E3 2014 in june this year.

 

Nordic Games

Nordic Games is Austrian games company founded 2011. Aquanox is game set in the aquaworld, where you can trade opportunities with your rivals, where you can do heists and heavy battles.

SpellForce 3 is a Real-time strategy coming from German studio Phenomic.The Book of Unwritten Tales is  also getting a sequel. New point and click adventure should be released on january 30th 2015.

Mx vs ATV supercross is moto-racing game with more than 80 motorbikes to choose and 60 professional licensed racers. Europa 1400 or The Guild is also getting a third edition. Guild 3 puts you in a role of a player who tries to guide a family to power and wealth .

And finally the game with attributes to become potential jewel in the offer is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. In The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, you play as Paul Prospero, an occult detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter and realizes that the boy is in grave danger. When Paul arrives in Ethan’s home of Red Creek Valley, he realizes things are even worse than he imagined. Ethan has vanished in the wake of a brutal murder, which Paul comes to see might not be the only murder to investigate. Using both regular and supernatural detective skills, Paul must figure out what happened to the missing boy.
