Assassin’s Creed: Unity is the fifth major chapter in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and the first built exclusively for advanced-generation consoles.
It will also be available on PC and so far, release date has been set to q4 of 2014.Ubisoft‘s Montreal-based team, in conjunction with nine other studios from Toronto, Kiev, Singapore, Shanghai, Annecy, Montpellier, Bucharest, Quebec and Chengdu are working on the completion of the game.On March 19, 2014, images leaked for the next game, titled or code-named Unity, showing a new assassin in Paris. The screenshots show new “parkour up” and “parkour down” buttons, a new navigation mechanic as noted by Kotaku. Kotaku also stated that Unity would release in late 2014 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and would be set during the French Revolution and feature an assassin named Arno. On March 21, Ubisoft confirmed the game’s existence, having been in development for more than three years, by releasing pre-alpha game footage. They also confirmed the game’s release date of Q4 2014, and that it would release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Ubisoft Montreal is the lead developer for the project, with contributing work from the Ubisoft studios in Toronto, Kiev, Singapore, Shanghai, Annecy, Montpellier, Bucharest, Quebec, and Chengdu.
So far, the only trailer released for Assassin’s Creed 5 is the initial teaser trailer. Using alpha game footage, the minute-long trailer shows a public execution taking place in a square outside Notre Dame de Paris with what we assume to be the game’s main protagonist watching from a rooftop above
