Mighty No. 9 is an all-new Japanese side-scrolling action game that takes the best aspects of the 8- and 16-bit era classics you know and love, and transforms them with modern tech, fresh mechanics, and fan input into something fresh. You play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots, and the only one not infected by a mysterious computer virus that has caused mechanized creatures the world over to go berserk. Run, jump, blast, and transform your way through six stages (or more, via stretch goals) you can tackle in any order you choose, using weapons and abilities stolen from your enemies to take down your fellow Mighty Number robots and confront the final evil that threatens the planet. Once, you worked together, side-by-side but now, your fellow Mighty No. robots have lashed out, taking over key strategic locations across the globe and infesting them with their minions. You have no choice: the other Mighty Numbers…Must. Be. Destroyed. Continue reading Mighty no 9 →

Quantum Break is undoubtedly the oddest high-profile game of this generation. FIVE NIGHTS at FREDDY’S: SISTER LOCATION TEASER
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 was supposed to be the final game in the animatronic horror series, except, of course, for that spin-off we’d all probably rather forget. Now there is to be another FNaF, seemingly titled Sister Location, as teased on creator Scott Cawthon’s site. Continue reading FIVE NIGHTS at FREDDY’S: SISTER LOCATION TEASER
JOB SIMULATOR review
The truth is you haven’t known true job satisfaction until you’ve thrown a mug of steaming coffee at your boss’s head. A flash of confusion appears on his face, he emits a BZZZT, and then goes back to doing the same thing he was before. Which was explaining the next menial task you have to perform in order to progress to the next menial task after that. The year is 2050, and you are a human in a museum-slash-theme park run by robots that simulates the most boring jobs of the 21st century. Continue reading JOB SIMULATOR review
Cossack 3 will be available in september 2016
It’s titled Cossacks 3, but really this is an HD remake of the original Cossacks, a ginormo real-time strategy game that whacks up to 10,000 soldiers at one time into various battles drawn from 17th and 18th century European history. That’s a lot of soldiers, if my maths is correct, and here are some other big numbers for ya: 12 nations, 70 unit types, five single-player campaigns, eight-player multiplayer. There are depressingly few RTSs around these days, so if you still enjoy the genre, particularly the historical variety, you’ll be pleased to hear that GSC Gameworld’s latest Cossacks now has a release date: September 20. Continue reading Cossack 3 will be available in september 2016

HITMAN ep3 Marakesh
The trend for Hitman’s [official site] episodic levels to be grow bigger and more populous with each new installment continues unabated with third map Marrakesh, which is frankly just showing off. There’s just no need to emerge from a vast crowd of tourists into a shop populated by hundreds of beautifully-glowing lamps and, from there, into an even larger horde, this time of protesters raging amid coloured smoke. No need whatsoever. Bless ‘em for doing it anyway. Continue reading HITMAN ep3 Marakesh
