SYBERIA 3 ADVENTURE DELAYED FOR 2017
Microids announced the point-and-click adventure Syberia 3 in 2012, saying that it would be out sometime in 2014, or maybe 2015. That eventually became 2016—December 1, to be specific—but today the studio said that date isn’t going to work out either. It is a continuation of the Syberia series which contains steampunk elements and follows the adventures of American lawyer Kate Walker as she travels across Europe and Russia. Cossack 3 will be available in september 2016
It’s titled Cossacks 3, but really this is an HD remake of the original Cossacks, a ginormo real-time strategy game that whacks up to 10,000 soldiers at one time into various battles drawn from 17th and 18th century European history. That’s a lot of soldiers, if my maths is correct, and here are some other big numbers for ya: 12 nations, 70 unit types, five single-player campaigns, eight-player multiplayer. There are depressingly few RTSs around these days, so if you still enjoy the genre, particularly the historical variety, you’ll be pleased to hear that GSC Gameworld’s latest Cossacks now has a release date: September 20. Space Run Galaxy
Back in 2014, building up a spaceship to run cargo in Space Run [official site] renewed Adam’s interest in tower defense games. Space Run gives players a big space-truck to haul everything from plain old cargo containers to thrill-seeking tourists, and naturally they must build up the truckship with weapons and defenses if they want to complete the delivery in time – and survive.
